Mallika Kapoor (born April 25, 1987; also known as Malika) is an Indian actress in the Kollywood and Tollywood industries. She started her film career through her debut Malyalam film Albudhadweep, alongside actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Her Tamil debut was the leading role in Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu, alongside Bharath, and then subsequently in Vathiyar with action king Arjun. Her appearance Allare Allari, opposite Allari Naresh, was her first in Telugu.
She has two additional Tamil films to date: Arputha Theevu, which was released in September 2006, and Vathiyar, which was released on Diwali.
She is from a middle class punjabi family, her father is a merchant avy officer and mother is a house wife
